My role in this project involves cleaning and preparing the line work from a file provided to me. Some parts of the table were prototyped in-house for the client. The table is designed as an interactive cityscape for children, allowing them to build, learn, and create.

My role in this project involves gathering historical photos, assembling graphics, prototyping custom-sized frames, and finalizing the installation. Additionally, I researched redlining, displacement, and the Black experience in Oakland, with a focus on Russell City, CA, utilizing public data, storytelling, and interpretation of interviews. This project is part of a larger exhibition at the Oakland Museum of California titled.

The graphics create an immersive experience that invites viewers to explore changes in building usage, population, homeownership, and employment across five neighborhoods in Oakland. It also highlights the stories of Russell City’s former residents through historical photos and audio from interviews.
