This project is part of a larger exhibition at the Oakland Museum of California. I helped assemble graphics and researched redlining, displacement, and the Black experience in Oakland, focusing on Russell City, CA, through public data, storytelling, and interviews.
The graphics create an immersive experience that invites viewers to explore changes in building usage, population, homeownership, and employment across five Oakland neighborhoods, while also showcasing the stories of Russell City’s former residents through historical images.
